Cooks' World is a locally owned and operated gourmet kitchen store in Western New York.
Since 1978, when my father started the store, we have been serving people
one by one with a smile and prompt, friendly, knowledgeable service. We are
here to help answer your questions, find a product or maybe just offer some advice on a recipe. We can also fulfill your special order,
as we carry hundreds of lines and have access to many manufacturers' catalogs. We
will always do our best to help you locate the item you are searching for.
Please don't hesitate to offer constructive criticism on our website. Even
though we have been around for 23 years, we have only been online with a secure
server since December, 1998. We welcome your comments & feedback on how to make
this site better for you. That is our goal! We wish to establish a long
term relationship serving your cooking and culinary needs. And

RETURNS:
Your complete satisfaction is our
commitment to you. If the item is defective, damaged, or you are unhappy with
the selection, simply return it to us within 30 days of purchase, and upon
inspection, we will gladly refund your credit card and mail you a copy of the
receipt. Please include a copy of the receipt, the original box, and package
materials. Send it prepaid via UPS or US Mail. If merchandise received is not in
the original carton within a corrugated container, we are not obligated to
refund your money. In addition, we will refund shipping costs only if the return
is our error.

GIFT WRAPPING:
We offer a lovely gift wrapping service (silver polka dots or holiday paper),
including a bow and complimentary card. Cost is $4.95 per item. To add gift wrapping, simply check the box on the product page. Then at CheckOut, please indicate the style of paper and what you would like on the card.
 
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS:
In the event an item (s) is out of stock, we will email you with the anticipated
date we expect to receive the merchandise. You can then decide to hold the order
in place or you can cancel the order. Should you decide to hold the order in
place, we will email you when the product arrives here; that way, you know it
will be coming to you shortly. If several items are purchased, and one or more
are not in stock, we will notify you and you can decide to a) have the items in
stock shipped immediately and the others sent when they come in
b)hold the order and ship when it is complete; or c) ship the
item in stock and cancel the item(s) out of stock.

depending on the season, but generally we are open the following:

charge a reasonable price for them .We offer many lines of cookware,
appliances and cutlery at a discount and do not charge any handling fee. We do
not charge sales tax other than orders shipped to
New York, where we reside.

Warranties
Warranties vary by manufacturer,
so please contact us toll free at
(800) 825 1833 for more specific information. A few guidelines however do exist.
Most appliance manufacturers offer a 1 year warranty on their products.
Cuisinart is an exception as they do offer from 3-5 years on some kitchen
appliances. Our cookware manufacturers all offer conditional or unconditional
lifetime warranties on their products. The same lifetime warranty applies to our
cutlery manufacturers. The rest of the kitchenware lines we represent do not
specifically offer a warranty, but they work closely with us to fix problems and
we work closely with you to resolve the problem or concern.
