Foodie Night June 2018
Local spices and silicone spoons were the focus of the June Foodie Night. Each foodie was given their choice of any of our assortment of Stuart's Spices and an OXO Good Grips Silicone Spoon.
Stuart’s Spices, proud to be in its 26th year, is a locally owned and operated business in Rochester, New York. This successful milestone was reached due to their commitment to providing premium quality spices, excellent service and sharing their depth of knowledge with all customers, whether they’re running a high volume restaurant kitchen or cooking for family.
OXO is dedicated to providing innovative consumer products that make everyday living easier. They study people—lefties and righties, male and female, young and old—interacting with products and they identify opportunities for meaningful improvement. Their thoughtful, “question everything” process and relentless attention to detail uncover the best solutions for life’s everyday tasks.
Providing our foodies with a sample of the spice of their choice and a spoon, they were asked to take them home and come up with a recipe using the items. Once the recipe was ready, they brought in their dish to pass on Foodie Night (Friday, June 15th) along with one copy of the recipe and shared their experiences with the group. Each person in the class got to taste all of the dishes. The recipes are posted below and on our website for all to share in fun.
