The Spring Knife Skills Class, led by Ed Bartush-Regional Sales Director for Wusthof-Trident and Megan Rich-Regional Business Manager for Wusthof-Trident was held on March 26th at Cooks' World. It was a great evening learning to slice, carve, chop, and maintain knives properly.
The Knife Skills Class covered all the knife basics. It is a hands on working/cutting class. Participants learned the ins and outs of what many consider to be every chef's most important tool. The class mastered basic knife skills and the fundamental cuts for vegetables (such as mince, dice, brunoise, and julienne), as well as a few advanced techniques. We also learned how to select the right knife for any job, and some wonderful tips for keeping all knives sharp and well maintained at home.
